Our vineyards are perched high above the Napa Valley in the remote eastern mountains of the Atlas Peak AVA (American Viticultural Area). At 1400 feet above the valley floor, our grapes are among the first to see the morning sun as the daily fog layers burn off. The long, sunny days are balanced by the cooler air and mountain breezes, extending the ripening season and allowing the flavors to more fully develop.
Aveo’s 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is truly something special. A co-fermented blend of 90% Cabernet and 10% Petit Verdot, all from our mountain top vineyard, this vintage was then aged for a full 30 months in French oak before bottling. Lush & elegant, this wine is truly everything I hoped to one day put my label on.

Aveo’s 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the elegance possible from Atlas Peak fruit through a gentle presentation of rich, almost chocolaty dark fruits, ripe currants, and truly elegant soft tannins. Co-fermented of Cabernet (90%) and Petit Verdot (10%) and rested for 2½ years in french oak, this is a Cabernet envisioned from the start to be served proudly with your favorite meals. The 2015 finds that magic balance between bold and elegant.
